As a smaller studio, it wasn't something 4A could justify, but now it's looking at the idea.ĤA Games reassures that this won't be a 'box-ticking exercise ' whatever it does, it won't be the detriment of the single-player side, and 4A says it will need a dedicated team on the multiplayer side. The last point is notable, because 4A Games goes on to say that its partnership with Saber, both of which are now under the Embracer Group umbrella, is allowing the studio to explore something it's never been able to: a multiplayer Metro experience. Set for next-gen consoles and PC, there's not much more to announce, other than that 4A Games is working towards delivering a great story-driven single-player experience. 4A Games looks ahead to the future in the latter part of its blog, starting off by confirming that 'it's no secret' that the studio is already working on the next Metro game. That's not all that's in store for the Metro series, though. From the monsters of Metro 2033 and Last Light to the open-air wastelands of Metro Exodus, the games just look good, and seeing how the new crop of consoles handle Exodus might be worth a replay.
